I talk about past and present books here!
Every Autumn I start reading one of my favorite Haunted House Books. The Haunting of Hill House is strangely paced and honestly not much happens but that is part of why I love it. Plus the main character makes me hate myself a little! Which is always a win with books.
Currently halfway through with this one! Old literature like this might just not be my cup of tea, especially with how sad it is. So far it seems like the main guy just keeps getting punched down :( I try reading books that don't make me feel bad!
I started reading this around July and put it on a shelf until the weather was more moody and appropriate. But now it's November and I'm reading Hill House instead.
Always in one of those when mental turmoil
In the early hours of Christmas Eve, the sleeper train to the Highlands is derailed, along with the festive plans of its travellers. With the train stuck in snow in the middle of nowhere, a killer stalks its carriages, picking off passengers one by one. Those who sleep on the sleeper train may never wake again.
Can former Met detective Roz Parker find the killer before they kill again?
